Additional information

No data are available on the hydrolytic stability of Fatty acids, essential, Et esters. Due to the ready biodegradability of the substance, hydrolysis testing is not required under REACh. Two supporting study entries (QSAR and a read across) indicate that the test substance is hydrolytically stable with a half-life of >1 year at pH 7.

Based on a QSAR estimation using SRC AOP v1.92, Fatty acids, essential, Et esters is susceptible to indirect photodegradation in air. The estimated half-life for the reaction with OH-radicals is 4.60 to 5.06 h (24 h day; OH-concentration 0.5E+06).
