Medical conditions aggravated by exposure: None known.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable Extinguishing media: Dry chemicals, CO2 and water based foam or water spray.

Special hazards arising from substance in case of fire: Hazardous decomposition products such as carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, Burning products may be irritant.

Advice to fire fighters: In the event of fire promptly isolate the scene by avoiding any person coming near to the scene of accident. use self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand and full protective clothing when fighting fire.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: use personal protective equipment such as gloves goggles and apron. Do not touch or walk through spilled material.

Environmental precautions: Prevent product from entering drains in an uncontrolled manner.

Methods for cleaning up: Prevent entry into sewers, water courses, basements or confined areas. Use ATEX tools or explosion proof equipment in case of dust formation. Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for re-use or disposal.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Control parameters: No product specific occupational exposure limits. General dust exposure limits should be observed.

Control of exposure: Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep worker exposure as low as possible.

Personal protective equipment: Respiratory protection: Use breathing apparatus if dust is formed and cannot be controlled by technical means.

Hand protection: PVC or other plastic material gloves are recommended.

Skin and body protection: No special protective equipment required under normal conditions of use; contaminated working clothes should be kept separate from private clothing.

Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields as standard in industry are recommended.

Hygiene measures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

Stability and reactivity

Stability: the substance is stable under ambient conditions for storage and use.

Conditions to avoid: Strong oxidising agents; exposure to air or moisture over prolonged periods should be avoided for quality reasons.

Hazardous decomposition products: Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous reactions will not occur. Thermal decomposition in case of fire can lead to release of irritating gases and carbon oxides.

Disposal considerations

Waste disposal must be in accordance with appropriate federal state and local regulations.

Residues from fire with this material may be hazardous and should be disposed of as hazardous waste in line with applicable regulations.

Contaminated packaging: Do not re-use empty containers.
