Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: no oxidising properties
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
Based on the chemical structure the result for the oxidising properties has been predicted negative.

Executive summary:

The oxidising properties were predicted using Method A17 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC) in study number 2517 -0001 for the substance SLP(76) stripped.

The structure of the test item was assessed for chemical groups that would imply oxidising properties. Examples of such groups are nitrates, metal oxides, hypofluorites, difluoroaminopolynitroaryls, perchlorates, bromates and iodites.Full structural details are given in Bretherick’s Handbook of Reactive Chemical Hazards, 4th Edition, Butterworths, , 1990. Based on the chemical structure the result for the oxidising properties has been predicted negative.
