Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Viscosity (triethoxysilane): 0.76 mm²/s at 20°C (QSAR).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Viscosity:
0.76 mm²/s (static)
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The static viscosity of the test substance was calculated to be 0.76 mm²/s at 20 °C. This data was calculated according to an appropriate QSAR estimation method. The result is considered reliable and is selected as key study. This is also supported by a further study which reported the dynamic viscosity to be 0.61 mPa.s at 20 °C. Limited details were available for this study and so it is selected as a supporting study.
