the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is known to be stable in contact with air at room temperature for prolonged periods of time (days) and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied

The molecular structure of the test substance does not contain any chemical groups that might lead
to spontaneous ignition a short time after coming into contact with air. The test was not performed
experimentally because practical experience exists at the sponsor and the test facilities, e.g. when
handling small amounts of the test substance repeatedly in air during testing.

Conclusions:

The determination of the flammability of the test item was performed in accordance to EU A.10 guidelines, under GLP conditions. A preliminary screening test was carried out but the result was negative, as the test item did not ignite. Therefore, it was determined that the test item is not highly flammable.
