Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the results from a skin corrosion study according to OECD test guideline 431 (2,5-dimethylphenyl)-acetyl chloride is classified according to Regulation (EU) No. 1272/2008 (CLP) and the Globally Harmonized System for Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) as skin sensitizer Category 1 for precautionary reasons.
