The median particle size D50: 50 % of particle volume or particle mass with lower particle diameter) deduced from these distributions are:

1st test series: D50 = 174.8 µm

2nd test series: D50 = 156.2 µm

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 110, OPPTS 830.7520 and ISO 13320 in order to determine the particle size distribution of the test item. The particle size distribution was determined using laser diffraction. Two test series of 3 measurements each were performed with the test item. The median particle size D50 of the test item was determined to be 166 µm. The particle size D10 of the test item was determined to be 21 µm and the D90 was determined to be 494 µm respectively.
