Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Reliable studies are available for the analogue substance on the three throphic levels involving Algae, Daphnia and fish as representative species for (fresh) water organisms.

For each test a limit test was performed and nominal concentrations of the substances dissolved by WAF method considered. In fact the substance is highly insoluble in water media and it does not show any adverse effects in any of the aquatic species. Even though measured concentrations are available, loading rate concentrations were used since the substance is an UVCB and it has to be considered as a whole when assessed for any ecotoxicological hazard; therefore the final value of the nominal concentration is taken as result. The EL50 and NOELR were determined to be > 100 mg/l for all the tested aquatic species.

STP microorganisms showed no toxic effects at 1000 mg/L as determined in the activated sludge, respiration inhibition test.
