Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance may be recovered for reuse. Xylene solutions

of the substance may be washed with water prior to

crystallisation.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method, use an approved facility. Waste gas

treatment (or other procedures) to remove nitrogen oxides,

hydrogen chloride and, possibly, hydrogen cyanide should be

used.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended, the substance is very toxic to aquatic

organisms and is not readily biodegradable.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery from preparations is not possible.

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Waste preparations should be destroyed by incineration at an

approved facility with waste gas treatment.

Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.
