Calculated particion coefficient of the test item:

The partition coefficient was calculated based on the results of the analytical determination. The log Pow was calculated for each replicate. From the results of a non-GLP pre-experiment it was assumed that equilibrium was reached as the 1 -octanol/water concentration ratio did not change significantly in samples taken over a time period of 120 h. The test item was determined to almost 100 % in the octanol phase. The concentration in the aqueous phase was below the quantification limit. For calculation purpose the LOQ was used. The difference between the three replicates was less than +/- 0.1 log units.

According to the results of this study the logarithmic partition coefficient (n-octanol / water) of the test item was calculated to be 6.4 using the slow-stirring method at 25 °C +/- 1 °C.

Conclusions:
The partition coefficient n-octanol/water of the test item was determined according to the slow stirring method. It was found to be 6.4.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted in accordance with OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals, Guideline No. 123: "Partition coefficient(1 -octanol/water): Slow Stirring Method, adopted March 23, 2006 to determine the partition coefficient of the test substance. The partition coefficient n-octanol/water of the test item was determined according to the slow stirring method. It was found to be 6.4 using the slow-stirring method at 25 °C +/- 1 °C.
