- Major component in UVCB substance is an established flame retardant (75% Mg(OH)2_CAS: 1309-42-8.. Fatty acids, tall oil, magnesium salts does not emit flammable gases upon contact with water (it is prepared in the presence of water) and it is not pyrophoric.
