Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the boiling point of the test substance according to OECD Guideline 102 and EU Method A.1. The measurements were carried out by using a capillary tube in a metal block described by OECD and EC. Three runs were performed at temperature range of 100 °C to 120 °C and heating rate 1 °/min. Under the study conditions, the boiling temperature of the test substance has been determined to be 113.5 °C +/- 0.25 °C (386.65 +/- 0.25 K) at 1006 hPa (Sablowski, 2017).

Description of key information

The boiling point was determined according to OECD Guideline 102 and EU Method A.1 (Sablowski, 2017).

Key value for chemical safety assessment
