Ames:

One study in 2018 shows positive to tester strains TA1537, TA98, TA100 and WP2uvrA in the absence of S9-mix, and the results were reproducible in a follow up experiment, these increases are considered to be biologically relevant and the test item is considered to be mutagenic.

Positive result in Ames study.

Therefore in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 Table 3.5.1, this substance should be classified as a Category 2 mutagen.
