- Transformation / dissolution:

Full test at 1 mg/L and pH 6 + 8:

The dissolved concentrations of chromium were lower than 0.5 µg/L at pH6 &8 after 7 and 28 days.

The dissolved concentrations of iron were below LOD (~0.35 µg/L) after 7 days at pH6 &8 and below 0.6 µg/L after 28 days at both pH.

The dissolved concentrations of titanium were lower than 0.1 µg/L at pH6 &8 after 7 and 28 days.

The dissolved concentrations of zinc were below 4 µg/L at pH6 &8 after 7 and below 5 µg/L at pH6 &8 after 28 days.

Full test at 100 mg/L and pH 8 for 7 days revealed maximum soluble concentrations of 4.42 µg/L Cr, 23.3 µg/L Zn, < 0.463 µg/L Fe and < 0.042 µg/L Ti.

Additional information

Studies conducted in accordance with EU guidelines are available for: appearance, melting point, relative density, particle size distribution, dustiness and transformation / dissolution.

Waivers are proposed for boiling point, vapour pressure, partition coefficient, surface tension, flash point, auto flammability, flammability for solids, pyrophoric properties, flammability in contact with water, explosiveness, oxidising properties.
