Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on classification

Aquatic acute toxicity

48 h, EC50 (Daphnia magna): > limit of solubility (0.297 mg/L, loading rate of 100 mg/L)

Aquatic chronic toxicity

72 h, ErC50 (Raphidocelis subcapitata): > limit of solubility (0.05 mg/L (limit of detection), loading rate of 5 mg/L)

72 h, NOEC (growth inhibiton) (Raphidocelis subcapitata): 0.05 mg/L (limit of detection, nominal 5 mg/L)

Biodegradation:

The substance was not readily biodegradable by OECD criteria (5.9 % biodegradation on day 28).

Partition coefficient:

log Pow < -0.1 at 20 °C

Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. The test substance was found to be not readily biodegradable under the test conditions. The test substance did not show aquatic toxicity when tested up to the limit of solubility (Dahnia magna and algae). The substance has a log Pow of < -0.1 at 20 °C. Based on these results, the substance is neither classified as short term (acute) aquatic toxicity nor classified as long term (chronic) aquatic toxicity according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) as amended for the twelfth time in Commission Regulation (EU) 2019/521.
