Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:

Guideline:
OECD Guideline 117 (Partition Coefficient (n-octanol / water), HPLC Method)
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
HPLC method
Partition coefficient type:

In order to determine the log Pow of the test substance, the measured Log k 'values of the test substances were applied against the log Pow values.

The regression lines obtained thereby have the function:

1) Eluent water / methanol:

      log Pow 1,446 * log k'+ 0,218

From this a log Pow of the test substance of 0,23 results.

2) Eluent buffer / methanol:

      log Pow 1,427 * log k'+ 0,241

From this a log Pow of the test substance of 0,33 results.

The partition coefficient log Pow of the test substance is 0.23 (measured against water/methanol) or 0,33 (measured against buffer pH7/Methanol).

Conclusions:
The log Kow of the test substance is 0.33 at 25°C at pH 7.0.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of the test substance was measured in accordance with OECD Guideline 117. The partition coefficient of the test substance is 0.33 at 25°C at pH 7.0.
