Key result
Boiling pt.:
> 500 °C
Remarks on result:
not determinable

Before the test the appearance of the test item was white powder. After the experiments the test item became beige melt.

In the course of the DSC measurement the melting point of the test item was observed at ca. 290 °C.

Conclusions:
Using a linear heating rate of 10 °C/min the boiling point of the test item was not observed up to 500 °C.
Executive summary:

A key study was performed according to OECD TG 103, Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.2 and OPPTS 830.7220 in order to determine the boiling point of the test item by using the differential scanning calorimeter method. The experiment was performed in triplicate. Before the test the appearance of the test item was white powder. After the experiments the test item became beige melt. The evaluation of the data was performed using the software STARe. As result, a thermogram was obtained in which the heat flow of the investigated sample is given as a function of the temperature. Using a linear heating rate of 10 °C/min the boiling point of the test item was not observed up to 500 °C.

Description of key information

Using a linear heating rate of 10 °C/min the boiling point of the test item was not observed up to 500 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A key study was performed according to OECD TG 103, Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.2 and OPPTS 830.7220 in order to determine the boiling point of the test item by using the differential scanning calorimeter method (reference 4.3-1). The experiment was performed in triplicate. Before the test the appearance of the test item was white powder. After the experiments the test item became beige melt. The evaluation of the data was performed using the software STARe. As result, a thermogram was obtained in which the heat flow of the investigated sample is given as a function of the temperature.
