Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Pour point was determined to be -21°C.
Executive summary:

A freezing point analysis was conducted according to EU Method A.1. An initial test was conducted to determine the temperature or temperature range of the phase transition from a liquid to a solid. Due to the viscosity of the test material it was not possible to obtain 5 consecutive readings of temperature from the cooling of the sample. Also, no crystallization was observed but the test material was observed to become solid. Therefore the Pour Point Method was used. The Pour Point test was conducted to determine the temperature at which a sample became free flowing. Two test runs were conducted; and the pour point was determined to be -21°C.
