Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A study was conducted to evaluate the toxicity of the test substance to the water flea, Daphnia magna STRAUS, according to OECD Guideline 202 and EC Method C.2, in compliance with GLP. Given the low water solubility of the substance,Daphniawere exposed to water accommodated fractions at nominal loading rates of 0, 10, 18, 32, 56 and 100 mg/L for a period of 48 h. Immobilisation was recorded at 24 and 48 h. Presence of test material wasverified by dissolved organic carbon analysis. Results were based on nominal values. All validity criteria were fulfilled during this study. Three concentrations (32, 56, 100 mg/L) resulted in 80 - 100% immobilisation after 48 h. There were no effects in controls. Under the study conditions, the 48 h NOEC was 18 mg/L (nominal loading rate) and the EC50 was 31 mg/L (nominal loading rate) (Muckle M, 2015b).
