Additional information

The substance was tested for acute aquatic toxicity towards fish, invertebrates and algae, not showing any signs of toxicity up to its solubility limit. Additionally, microorganisms (activated sludge) were not affected up to 320 mg/L exposure. Thus, the substance did not show signs of toxicity in all available tests. Chronic test data for aquatic organisms are not available, neither are sediment nor soil toxicity data. Thus, no hazards were identified.

Conclusion on classification

Due to lack of aquatic toxicity and a logPow of 3.69, although not being biodegradable, the substance is not subject to classification for aquatic toxicity according to CLP (Regulation EC No 1272/2008).
