Description of key information

There are no specific test data available concerning carcinogenicity. 
However, based on the results of several in vitro genotoxicity assays the substance is consiederd to be not mutagenic.
Furthermore, there is no evidence for a carcinogenic effect from a repeated dose toxicity study in rats (OECD 408).
In addition, there is no widespread dispersive use of the substance.
Consequently, and for the sake of animal welfare, the conduct of carcinogenicity testing is not warranted.
