Conclusions:
In a compilation of company technical data of potassium hydrogen arbonate specifications two particle size distributions are provided:
Specification 1:Particles > 0.850 mm (max 0.1 – 0.2 w/w%), > 0.500(4 – 20 w/w%), > 0.250 (max 50 - 75 w/w%), and > 0.100 (min 85 w/w%).
Specification 2: Particle size: 0.840 mm (0.0 - 0.5 w/w %), 0.420 mm (5.0 - 20.0 w/w %) 0.180 mm (45.0 - 65.0 w/w %), 0.149 mm (5.0 - 10.0 w/w %), 0.074 mm (10.0 - 25.0 w/w %) and <0.074 mm (2.0 -5.0).

Executive summary:

In a compilation of company technical data of potassium hydrogencarbonate specifications two particle size distributions are provided:

Specification 1:Particles > 0.850 mm (max 0.1 – 0.2 w/w%), > 0.500(4 – 20 w/w%), > 0.250 (max 50 - 75 w/w%), and > 0.100 (min 85 w/w%).

Specification 2: Particle size: 0.840 mm (0.0 - 0.5 w/w %), 0.420 mm (5.0 - 20.0 w/w %) 0.180 mm (45.0 - 65.0 w/w %), 0.149 mm (5.0 - 10.0 w/w %), 0.074 mm (10.0 - 25.0 w/w %) and <0.074 mm (2.0 - 5.0).

Description of key information

> 0.850 mm (max 0.1 – 0.2 w/w%), > 0.500(4 – 20 w/w%), > 0.250 (max 50 - 75 w/w%), and > 0.100 (min 85 w/w%)
The available data for particle size distribution are sufficient and adequate for the purpose of classification and labelling and/or risk assessment.

Additional information

Particle size distribution:

> 0.850 mm (max 0.1 – 0.2 w/w%), > 0.500(4 – 20 w/w%), > 0.250 (max 50 - 75 w/w%), and > 0.100 (min 85 w/w%)

Another potassium hydrogencarbonate quality shows very similar particle size distributions.
