The vapour pressure of alcohols, C12 -13, ethoxylated, 1 -2.5 EO was deduced from three studies of structural similar substances.

Literature values for dodecan-1 -ol and tridecan-1 -ol (ethoxylation degree 0) show a vapour pressure of 0.113 Pa and 0.0581 Pa at 25 °C respectively. The study by Conte for the test substance alcohols, C12 -13, ethoxylated, 1 -5 EO (NFT 20-048, static method) indicates a vapour pressure < 5 Pa at 20 °C.

Vapour pressure is a property which shows a negative correlation with the number of CH2 groups. The higher the number of CH2 groups, the lower the vapour pressure. There is also a correlation between vapour pressure and the degree of ethoxylation. Calculations show the higher the degree of ethoxylation the lower the vapour pressure.

Therefore the vapour pressure of alcohols, C12 -13, ethoxylated, 1 -2.5 EO is deduced to be < 1 Pa at 25 °C.
