The mean boiling temperature determined by O'Connor for the test item was 305.2 °C (578.3 K), with a standard deviation of 0.79 °C from four samples, at atmospheric pressure (97.5 to 98.7 kPa).

The boiling point reported by Stolle was under reduced pressure, and thus not directly comparable with the recently generated data by O'Connor. The latter is considered relevant, reliable, and adequate for risk assessment and classification purposes.
