Additional information

One short-term data is available for each of the trophic level in the aquatic compartment:

Fish

LC50-96 h was estimated using measured concentrations as being equal to 3.68 mg/L.

Aquatic invertebrates

The results of the 48 hour static Daphnia magna toxicity study was estimated at 4.5 (3.0-6.8) mg/1.

Algae

The 72h-EC50 of DTDM was estimated at 35 mg/l.

As a consequence and based on these values DTDM can be considered as toxic to the aquatic life.

According to the claimed used of DTDM, exposure of the aquatic compartment is likely. However, the risk assessment demonstrated that there is no risk for aquatic organisms using the PNEC derived based upon acute data. Therefore, further long-term testing on aquatic organisms is not needed.
