Any other information on results incl. tables

In the screening test according to Grewer, an onset of an exothermic reaction was evident from 150 °C upwards. The maximum temperature of the sample was approximately 550 °C. Therefore, a main test was carried out at lower temperatures.

In the main test, no exothermic reaction was observed at a storage temperature of 120 °C over the test period of 24 hours.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
No exothermic reaction was evident at storage in a 1 L wire mesh basket at 120 °C for 24 hours. The test item has not to be classified according to UN transport regulations in units up to 3 m3.
Executive summary:

An exothermic reaction was evident in a screening test from 150 °C upwards but not in the main test at storage at 120 °C for 24 hours. Classification according to UN transport regulations is not required.
