Description of key information

The degree of bioconcentration of the test substance in common carp as measured by the BCF was not more than 2.5 at 0.1 mg/l and not more than 26 at 0.01 mg/l.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
26 dimensionless

Additional information

All concentrations of the test substance in test fish were found to be below the limit of quantitation. Therefore BCF values were based on the lower limit of quantitation of the test method for fish. The lower limit of quantitation of the test substance in test fish weighing 30 g was calculated to be 0.23 μg/g per fish. The degree of bioconcentration of the test substance in common carp as measured by the BCF was not more than 2.5 at 0.1 mg/l and not more than 26 at 0.01 mg/l.
