Description of key information

The 48-hour EC50 and the 48-hour EC100 were higher than 100 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50/LC50 for freshwater invertebrates:
100 mg/L

Additional information

The Daphnia acute toxicity test was performed according to OECD TG 202. 100 mg/L of test substance and a control were applied in the limit test. The 48-hour NOEC and the 48-hour EC0 of test substance to Daphnia magna were determined to be at least 100 mg/L. The 48-hour EC50 and the 48-hour EC100 were clearly higher than 100 mg/L. Thus, the test substance is considered to be low toxic to daphnia.
