Description of key information

With high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic invertebrates.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The acute toxicity of the substance to aquatic invertebrates was tested in a guideline study following OECD guideline 202 including analytical monitoring (Safepharm Laboratories Ltd 2002d). Due to the instability of the substance in water the product of hydrolysis was tested. Daphnia magna were exposed to the hydrolysis product for 48 hours in a static test system. An effect concentration (EC50) > 100 mg/L was detected. Therefore, the test substance is with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
