Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial

respiration. Oxygen may additionally be given, by trained

personnel, if it is available. Get medical attention

immediately.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately start continuous flushing of eyes with water for

at least 15 minutes. If easy to do, contact lenses should

be removed during the flushing, by trained personnel. Hold

the eyelids apart during the flushing to ensure rinsing the

entire surface of the eye and lids with water. Get medical

attention immediately.

Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately start continuous flushing of skin with water for

at least 15 minutes, while removing contaminated clothing

and shoes. Get medical attention immediately. Wash clothing

before reuse. Thoroughly clean or destroy contaminated

shoes.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately by

calling a physician or a poison control center. If victim

is conscious and alert, give a cupful of water. Never give

anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person. If

vomiting occurs, the patient should lie on their left side

while vomiting to reduce the risk of aspiration.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: vermiculite, dry chemical powder, dry sand

Product arising from burning: Nitrogen oxide(s), Carbon dioxide, water, Aluminum oxide,

Carbon monoxide, Carbon and hydrocarbons

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Firefighters must wear fire resistant protective equipment.

Wear approved respirator and protective gloves.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Vapours are heavier than air and may spread along floors.

Vapours may travel to a source of ignition and flash back.

Evacuate personnel to safe area. Do not breathe

fumes/vapour. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

Do not allow to enter drains or water courses.

Stop leakage if possible. Eliminate all sources of ignition,

and do not generate flames or sparks. Take

precautionary measures against static discharges. Allow

controlled hydrolysis. Isolate spill area. After fire has

been extinguished or has been allowed to burn out

completely, wait CONSIDERABLE TIME (until smoke is no

longer observed). After that, carefully wash spill area with

a waterspray.

Handling and storage

Handling: Dnoal-dmp will only be on the market as a preparation in

Isopar E. Therefore all recommended methods reported in

section 2.3.00 to section 2.6.00 are for the preparation.

When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Do not breathe dust.

handle in well ventilated areas. Eliminate all sources of

ignition, and do not generate flames or sparks. Avoid

contact with moisture and water. Keep under nitrogen. Handle

only in closed system. During sampling, disconnecting lines

or opening connections, an

aluminised suit should be worn. Avoid contact with skin and

eyes. Avoid Incompatible materials (moisture and water,

alcohols, acids, organic halides and oxygen containing

compounds).

Storage: Store in accordance with local/national regulations. Keep

away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs. Keep

under dry nitrogen containing less than 10 ppm oxygen.

Protect product from moisture and wet air. Keep

container tightly closed and in a well-ventilated place.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: under nitrogen in fully closed system. steel cylinder or

steel container

Stability and reactivity

Danger other than fire: Dnoal-dmp will only be on the market as a preparation in

Isopar E. These dangers are for the preparation:

Highly flammable. Causes burns. Toxic to aquatic organisms,

may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic  e

nvironment. Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed.

Chemical reaction with water: Dnoal-dmp will only be on the market as a preparation in

Isopar E. These dangers are for the preparation:

Reacts violently with water, liberating extremely flammable

gases.

Dust explosion: Not applicable
