Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test item was found to be non toxic to Daphnia magna Straus after 48 hours up to a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L and a geometric mean measured concentration of 96.6 mg/L.
The EC0 (geometric mean measured concentration, 0 - 48 hours) was ≥ 96.6 mg/L and the EC50 (geometric mean measured concentration, 0 - 48 hours) was > 96.6 mg/L.

Additional information

The toxicity test to aquatic invertebrates (Caspers_1997) performed according to EU Method C.2. and GLP was rated with RL=2 (reliable with restrictions) and used as a key study. The results indicate that Neo Heliopan® AP was found not to immobilise daphnia magna up to a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L and a geometric mean measured concentration of 96.6 mg/L.

The geometric mean measured exposure EC50-value (geometric mean measured concentration) for acute immobilisation after 48 h was > 96.6 mg/L and the EC0-value (geometric mean measured concentration) for acute immobilisation after 48 h was ≥ 96.6 mg/L.
