Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The autoignition temperature or kindling point of a substance is the lowest temperature at which it will spontaneously ignite in a normal atmosphere without an external source of ignition, such as a flame or spark. The auto ignition temperature of 3a,4,5,6,7,7a-hexahydro-4,7-methanoinden-6-yl acetate was determines in the laboratory but it was not found to ignite on exposure of the liquid vapours to air. Thus it can be concluded that that 3a,4,5,6,7,7a-hexahydro-4,7-methanoinden-6-yl acetate is not auto flammable

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
36.94 °C
