MTDID 3285 is considered non-flammable.

he flammability of MTDID 3285 has been evaluated under different conditions in three flammability studies. In the first study, MTDID 3285 was found not to be flammable upon direct exposure to a flame based on the preliminary test results preformed as per EU Method A.10. This study is considered reliable without restrictions. In a second study, MTDID 3285 was found not to produce flammable gasses upon contact with water. The experiment does not directly follow EU Method A.12 and is therefore considered reliable with restrictions. In a third study, MTDID 3285 was found not to ignite spontaneously with air. From experience in handling in other experimental studies (ie. Water Solubility), MTDID 3285 does not ignite spontaneously with air. The experiment does not follow EU Method A.13 and is therefore considered reliable with restrictions. These three studies demonstrate that MTDID 3285 is considered non-flammable.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the chemical structure and results of three flammability studies, data is conclusive but not sufficient for classification of the substance as flammable.
