First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediatley with plenty of water for at least 10

minutes, and seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated material. Wash with plenty of water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam and carbon dioxide may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1).

Collect spill and transfer to a suitable labelled container.

Dispose of by incineration in accordance with local

regulations. Wash spill site thoroughly.

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic

chemicals. Avoid skin and eye contact. Safety goggles and

nitrile rubber gloves should be worn.

Storage: Store in suitable containers (cf 2.6).

Drums are stored laying down, indoors at ambient

temperatures, to prevent separation.
