Description of key information

An oral subacute dose study with N,N'-1,6-hexanediylbis(N-(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-piperidin-4-yl)formamide was conducted with 5 male and 5 female rats and doses of 100, 300 and 1000 mg/kg bw per day.
At 100 and 300 mg/kg bw/day no substance induced changes were observed.
Marginal decrease of total protein and albumin in female rats, but marginal increase of total protein in male rats was observed at 1000 mg/kg bw/day.
The NOAEL was determined to be 1000 mg/kg bw /day.
