Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

QSAR modelling using structure, melting point and boiling point inputs has been used to generate the expected vapour pressure for the 100% active material. This value was given to be 0.00055 Pa @ 20C. In a similar QSAR calculation for the read-across substance, Choline Chloride, the calculated vapour pressure is 6.57*10-8 Pa at 25°C.
For practical reasons, the vapour pressure of the 100% substance could not be measured. An attempt to calculate thisnusing Raoult's Law was made to give a limiting value of 10 mm Hg at 25°C (equivalent to 13.30 hPa)
