QSAR modelling using structure, melting point and boiling point inputs has been used to generate the expected vapour pressure for the 100% active material. This value was given to be 0.00055 Pa @ 20C. In a similar QSAR calculation for the read-across substance, Choline Chloride, the calculated vapour pressure is 6.57*10-8 Pa at 25°C.For practical reasons, the vapour pressure of the 100% substance could not be measured. An attempt to calculate thisnusing Raoult's Law was made to give a limiting value of 10 mm Hg at 25°C (equivalent to 13.30 hPa)
