The isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method is validated in the range 1*10 -8 to 1*10 +3 Pa using a set of reference substances with known vapour pressures.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method was chosen for the determination of the vapour pressure of E6. The vapour pressure of the test substance at 20°C (293K) was < 1.47 x 10E-3 Pa = < 1.10 X 10E-5 mm Hg.
