Clinical signs:
As signs of intoxication piloerection was observed in all dose groups, from 2000 mg/kg additionally sedation and increased salivation.
Symptoms occured 30 min after application and stayed up to day 11.
Body weight:
No effects.
Gross pathology:
Deads in 2000 and 2500 mg/kg:
The stomach was filled with yellow-brownish, partially solid mass, the stomach and intestine mucousa was redened. In each one female and one male of 2000 mg/kg the abdomen was filled with dark yellow liquid. In the female died at 1500 mg/kg the stomach was filled with an aqueous liquid, the mucousa reded and the intestine content black discoloured.
All animals which were killed at the end of the study did not show any affects.
