In the two experiments performed, a small endothermic peak between 100°C and 300°C was observed. It was most likely obtained due to evaporation of minor compounds in the test substance.

In both experiments, an exothermic decomposition effect starting at 375°C was observed. The extrapolated onset temperature of the effect in the first experiment was 405.53°C. In the second experiment an onset temperature 404.19°C was obtained. The exothermic decomposition energy was 282.1 J/g in the first experiment and 264.6 J/g in the second test.

After the experiments, a swollen sample container was observed and a charred residue remained in the sample container.

The explosive properties of E-Y110 were evaluated using DSC.

Exothermic decomposition of the test substance was observed at a temperature of 405°C. The exothermic decomposition energy was 273 J/g. According to this it was considered that the test substance has no explosive properties.
