Stability testing demonstrated that 2-phenylethyl cyanoacrylate is a reactive molecule which polymerizes immediately on contact with moisture. Due to the compound’s high reactivity, no absorption of the monomer is expected.

Similar to other cyanoacrylates, 2-phenylethyl cyanoacrylate is a reactive molecule which polymerizes immediately on contact with moisture. Therefore it is feasible to assume that this compound will not be bioavailable in its monomeric form.
