- Executive summary:
In a GLP-compliant OECD 209 guideline study for AC-6000with predominantly domestic sludge, activated sludge (0.7 g/L suspended solids, 2 replicates) was exposed to a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L for 3 hours.
The test concentration was prepared by stirring the test solution with a target dose level of 200 mg/L for 24 hours before exposure. The growth inhibition rate of the test substance was 9%. The 3-h EC50 value is >100 mg/L, this effect concentration is larger than the water solubility.

Additional information
A GLP-compliant OECD 209 guideline study with predominantly domestic sludge is available for AC-6000 (NOTOX B.V., 2007). Activated sludge (0.7 g/L suspended solids, 2 replicates) was exposed to a nominal concentration of 100 mg/L for 3 hours.
The test concentration was prepared by stirring the test solution with a target dose level of 200 mg/L for 24 hours before exposure. The growth inhibition rate of the test substance was 9%. The 3-h EC50 value is >100 mg/L, this effect concentration is larger than the water solubility.
