Additional information

The main constituents of reaction mass of 2,2'-oxybisbutane (DSBE), DIPE, SBA and 2-methylpropan-2-ol (TBA) do not contain functional groups that are easily hydrolised. Consequently, they are considered as resistant to hydrolysis and hydrolysis will not contribute to the degradation of the test item in the environment.

The main constituents DIPE and DSBE are expected to rapidly degrade in the atmosphere by hydroxyl radical attack based on QSAR estimations of atmospheric half-lives.
