Description of key information

In cases where no data were available on the target substance, Benzene, C15-16-alkyl derivs., data were read-across from a structurally related material (the test substance).
This study determined the adsorption/desorption coefficient for a read-across source substance for Benzene, C15-16-alkyl derivs. A radiolabelled sample of the test substance was mixed with four different soil types for 24 hrs. The samples were centrifuged, then examined for radioactivity. The soil adsorption coefficient was determined to be 22,000.
