Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results and discussion

Results of examinations

Details on results:
Clinical observations:
No clinical abnormalities were observed in dosed animals of either sex.
Food consumptions and body weight of both males and females of the various dose groups was found to have been unaffected by treatment.
Laboratory findings:
All laboratory tests performed in this study, (hematology, blood chemistry and urinalysis) revealed no modifications of toxicological relevance in treated animals of either sex.
The only changes observed involved the males and consisted in slight reduction of the hematocrit value at 500 mg/kg/day and of the prothrombin time at 150 and 500 mg/kg/day.
Effects in organs:
Post- mortem examinations (organ weight, gross pathology and histology) did not show changes that could been caused by test article administration.
