Description of key information

The octanol/water partition coefficient of the substance is considered to be log 2.7 at 23 °C, determined according CEE A8 test guidelines.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
2.7
at the temperature of:
23 °C

Additional information

Three reliable, GLP compliant, octanol/water partition coefficient tests are available. In the key study (INERIS Institut National De Recherché, 1997), employing the shake-flask method with GC analysis, the Log P o/w was measure as 2.7 at 23°C. In two supporting HPLC screening tests, (Schering Agrochemicals Ltd., 1988 and RCC NotoxToxicological Research and Consultancy B.V., 1991), the Log Po/w was measured as 2.51 or 2.5 respectively, at comparable temperatures.
