Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The ready biodegradability was assessed according to the OECD Guideline 301 “Ready Biodegradability: Manometric Respirometry Test” (Gancet et al 2003). Under the test conditions, the percentage of biodegradation of Condensation Product of N-C12-C18-Alkylpropane-1,3-Diamine, N-(3-Aminopropyl)-N’-C12 -C18-Alkylpropane-1,3-Diamine and Formic Acid reached 15 % of the ThOD at the end of the test (28 days). Therefore, it is considered as not readily bidoegradable. But the plateau was not reached at the end of the test.

But it seems unlikely that in different experimental settings employing lower concentrations the criteria of readily biodegradation can be reached.
