Additional information

No studies are available for the long-term toxicity of the reaction mass towards aquatic invertebrates. Therefore, data for one of the four m-cresol components of the reaction mass, 4-chloro-m-cresol (CAS No. 59-50-7), are used as read across. The 21-day long-term toxicity of 4-chloro-m-cresol to Daphnia magna was investigated in one GLP-study according to OECD guideline 211 including analytics. Based on reproduction, a NOEC of 0.32 mg/L was determined.
