Description of key information

2-Ethoxy-1-methyl-2-oxoethyl)-5-[2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl) phenoxy]-2-nitrobenzoate was highly absorbed while lactyl-5-[2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl) phenoxy]-2-nitrobenzoate, 5-[2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]-2-nitrobenzoic acid, and 5-[2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl) phenoxy]-2-amino benzoic acid, were less absorbed, suggesting that mobility of the degradates was significantly greater in the soil/water system than that of the parental 2-Ethoxy-1-methyl-2-oxoethyl)-5-[2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl) phenoxy]-2-nitrobenzoate.
