Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The boiling point can not be determined due to reaction and/or decomposition of the test substance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The melting and boiling temperature of the test substance were determined in a GLP study according to OECD and EU guidelines. The experiment was performed using a differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).

No effects were observed which were due to melting and/or boiling of the test substance. An exothermic peak was observed between 100°C and 400°C. The effect was due to reaction and/or decomposition of the test substance. After the experiment, a white residue remained in the sample container.

It can as a consequence be concluded that no boiling point can be determined for this test substance.
