Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Terrestrial ecotoxicity data are not available for the registration substance but for the homologue Glucamide 18,18u.

From the aquatic ecotoxicity data it is known that aquatic ecotoxicty of Glucamide homologes increase with chain length of the fatty acid amide group e.g. from C8 to C18. Therefore it can be assumed that C18, C18 unsatured Glucamide (Glucamide 1818u or GA 18,18u or Oleyl Glucamide) with the longest alkyl chain should also have - according the equilibrium partitioning theory - the highest terrestrial ecotoxicity. The terrestrial ecotoxicity data of Glucamide 1818u are used as a worst case for read across to the Glucamides with shorter chain length like Glucamide 810.
